Stars in Jars Essences was born from a collaboration between two women with over thirty years of combined training and experience in modalities that explore the body, mind, and spirit. Together, with Nature as their Divine inspiration and guide, they came to co-create one of a kind vibrational remedies. Alison has since moved on from the project.  The Story of Stars in Jars:

Our work together began in 2004 as part of a devotional practice with Spirit, Nature, and the Elements. In 2005 while working in sacred space, we created our first essence formula for our own personal work and use. That formula was All is Well which is still one of our most popular remedies for overall soul support and one of our personal favorites. We felt immediate and tangible energy shifts once we used this essence and realized that helping birth these essences into being was part of our soul path. Over the next several years we continued the process, lovingly hand-crafting our essences in San Francisco and beyond.

When creating an essence, we start with traditional infusion methods of working with the plant and gem kingdoms. Based on the wisdom principle that water holds memory, we boost the vibration of the infusions with Reiki, channeled blessings, and the energies of seasonal and planetary rhythms. We love this intuitive way of creating vibrational remedies and are always thrilled to act as stewards in the Divine process.

Not long after making the first formula, we began sharing the remedies with our friends and family, and received enthusiastic feedback. By 2008 we had made over 25 unique formulas, and it was then that we knew it was time to share them with the world. The essences themselves had revealed each one’s name and purpose. During a shamanic journey we received the message reminding us that “water comes from stars”. We chose the name Stars in Jars because we felt it perfectly expressed the energies of these essences: Star blessings and wisdom from the Cosmos, the Heavens, and from inside every stone and living thing on our planet which all carry wisdom messages in their energy signatures. These energies awaken the healing potential we have in our own cellular memory and DNA.

It can be challenging to be part of the web of life on planet Earth these days, and it is our sincere wish that our essences support each of us as we greet what arises. Together may we flourish and become agents of positive change and healing for ourselves, each other, the planet, and the greatest good of all beings everywhere.Thank you for your continued support!

Claudia holds a BA from UCLA and an MA from San Francisco State University, is a flower essence therapist trained with Jane Bell (co-creator of Alaskan Essences), and is currently studying with Cynthia Athina Kemp of Desert Alchemy; she has always been drawn to the power of the desert landscape. She has been a body-worker since 2004 and completed advanced training at San Francisco School of Massage. Her modalities include deep tissue, reflexology, craniosacral therapy, and zen shiatsu. She is attuned to Reiki Level 3, has served as a shamanic apprentice to Meg Beeler of Earthcaretakers, carries the Munay Ki initiations and has been making despacho offerings and working with earth medicine for many years. As an avid backpacker and nature lover, her journeys have lead to the collection of many waters of the worlds for healing work and ceremonial use. She lives with her life partner, Ilan and her beloved dog, Osa.
